about

This is a small collection of woeful warbles wrapped up in warm fuzzy layers of bells, wonks, zings, woos, claps, and dream allusions that sort of disappear beneath the sea of mumbling clamor I make for my dream girl who is sailing away (metaphorically speaking).

This record was supposed to be a way for me to escape the nightmare that is a dream girl (ironic) and move on, but alas, I now feel only more so perpetually doomed to wallow through this forlorn gloaming. I don't think the record sounds nearly as weary as I felt recording it but that is probably because of how fanciful it is to sing to a girl who only exists in some abstract recess of one's mind.

So this is basically an unfinished love-letter to a very charming lady I will never have.

He is also working on his first novel about an ill-fated prostitute and the reprobate fool who loves her. ... more
